Lydia, owner and art instructor, at The Artistic Box, opened her studio in 2016 with the desire to help others find a passion for art. As a Christian artist, she loves creating works of art based on Jesus’s travels and scripture-inspired landscapes. When she was eighteen, she opened an art camp which has continued for the last twenty years in her hometown of Cleveland. Introducing art to kids and encouraging them to be creative and inspired was her goal. Now, she has over seventy full-time art students (kids & adults) who take weekly lessons. Bringing people together and creating a beautiful space for her community to make memories has always been a top priority. So, when she opened her new location on The Square, she excitedly designed the new building to offer a double-decker space for both event venue and art studio. The entire first floor is entirely dedicated to hosting private events, parties, and showers. Available to rent every day of the week. This upscale space, with modern seating areas, full bar, catering room, and photo wall can accommodate 75 and seat 50 people.

Lydia’s motto has always been, live your life as adventurous as possible. So last year, she earned her degree in Landscape Design and merged her passion for flowers and outdoor living into a career. Designing her own lush gardens at their cottage-style home, alongside her builder husband, Kaleb, spurned the idea. Using unique color schemes for hardscape and softscapes, she breathes new life into outdoor spaces. Her background as an artist gives her a creative approach to yard design.
